Anguilla Landfill Resumes Operations

Anguilla Landfill on St. Croix will resume regular operations Monday after being closed due to a fire that broke out Friday night, the V.I. Waste Management Authority announced.

The landfill will open at 6 a.m. Monday.

Landfill operations were suspended when an active fire was reported at 8:04 p.m., Friday. The fire was suppressed by the Virgin Islands Fire Service, VIWMA staff and contractors.
