Road Town Fast Ferry has informed the Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) that its schedule for cargo-only trips to St. Thomas will be amended.  The ferry company will not have scheduled pickups on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  Instead, the ferry will visit St. Thomas for scheduled cargo pickups at the Edward W. Blyden IV Marine Terminal in accordance with pre-arranged trips approved by the British Virgin Islands’ Government.  Such trips will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

As announced before, the captain and crew on the ferry will not disembark on St. Thomas, and there will be no passengers allowed on the vessel because the BVI’s borders are still closed to travelers due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The ferry will arrive in St. Thomas at 9:30 a.m. on pick-up days and depart for Tortola at 11 a.m.

For more information, the public should call Road Town Fast Ferry directly at (284) 340-3976 or visit the website at https://www.roadtownfastferry.com/.
