Two men dressed in black robbed a woman in her home Monday night, the V.I. Police reported.

According to the VIPD, at approximately 10:13 p.m. Monday, police were notified of a residential burglary that had occurred in Cruz Bay.

The female victim, who made her report at the Leander Jurgen Command, told police she was in her residence when she heard a knock on her door. When she said she asked who was knocking, two black males dressed all in black kicked the door in and entered her residence. One of the suspects assaulted her with a firearm while the other took her bag, which contained her documents. The victim reported that the suspects ordered her in the bathroom and left the area. She then traveled to the police station to file the report.
