St. Croix Man Arrested After Shots Fired

The V.I. Police Department arrested Malik Rohlsen, a 21-year-old resident Concordia Bay, at about 4:10 p.m. Tuesday and charged him with first degree reckless endangerment.

At around 7:44 p.m. Monday the 911 emergency call center received reports of shots being fired in the Mars Hill residential area and dispatched officers. Residents of the area told police that Rohlsen fired the shots. According to the VIPD, further investigation revealed that Rohlsen discharged the shots during a disagreement with his former intimate partner.

Rohlsen was not offered bail pending his initial court appearance.
