Unidentified Body Found Near Cramer’s Park

The V.I. Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the body of an unidentified man who was found Tuesday morning in the bushes east of Cramer’s Park.

According to police, at 6:51 a.m. on Tuesday the 911 emergency call center received a report of what appeared to be a body in the park’s bushes. Officers responding to the scene found the body of a male, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

No form of identification was on the body.

Police said the individual appears to be young, black, dark-skinned, of medium build and about 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches in height. He has black, kinky hair in an afro and had a square earring with diamonds in his left ear. He was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, green plaid boxers and black Nike slippers.

Police urged anyone with any information that can help detectives with this case to call 911, the Crime Tip Line at 340-778-4950 or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
