Clint Lucien Sobratti Sr. Dies

Clint Lucien Sobratti Sr.

Clint Lucien Sobratti Sr., also known as “Rampul,” of Bronx, New York, died on April 12.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leota Testamark-Prescott; father, Henry D. Sobratti Sr.; grandparents: Horatio Testamark and Evannah Christian, Daniel Garay Cepeda and Gertude Sobratti-Walcott; uncles: Daryl, Morales Jr. and Warren Walcott, Glanfield, Frankie and Proascio Testamark; aunts: Agatha Benjamin, Alice Belardo, Gloria Testamark-Roberts and Majorie Gerard.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Brunstorff-Sobratti; daughters: Tasha, Keyma and Nakeena Sobratti; sons: Clint Jr. and Jahmal Sobratti; stepdaughters: Ahkela Edwards-Goodings and Rochelle Ritter; stepson: Keno Edwards and Reginald Ritter Jr.; sisters: Yvonne, Irene and Denise Sobratti, Janice Sobratti-Dore, Karen Malone, Sheryl Rhymer and Traney Prescott; brothers: Henry Jr., Kenneth Sr. and Wayne Sobratti; and grandchildren: Renisha Finch, Alysha, Adeja and Taliyah Fleming, Ajani Webbe, Jahlanie, Jahmari and J’Nya Henley, Jada, Anylah and O’syris Sobratti, Nazier and Nyionna Baines.

He is also survived by step-grandchildren: Arysha and Alayna Edwards, Ahjadin Grigg, Sekaye and Haile Goodings, Rielle Richards and Reshe and Rajon Ritter; great-granddaughter, Alevia Calvin; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts: Eleanore Newton, Myrtle Callwood, Cecile Bryan, Patricia and Florence Testamark; uncles: Eldred Gerard, Paul Testamark and Lorenzo Sobratti; daughters-in-law: Jamila Michael-Sobratti and Camela Ritter; son-in-law, David Goodings; and sisters-in-law: Beverly Williams, Shermaine Peters, Judy Gerard-Niles, Curliss Gerard and Daniella Granville-Sobratti.

Other survivors include brothers-in-law: Roy L. Dore, Wayne Brunstorff, Lariel, Curtis, Charles, Carl Jr. and Adam Gerard, and Mario Peters; special friends: Clarice Krigger, Jocelyn Baptiste, Dawn Williams, Rudy Herbert, Darril George, Wayne Petrus, Leroy Brookes, Sylvester Jones, Calvin Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Parker, Junie and Bundy Magras, CHS Class of 1972 and 1973, Wilburn Williams, Anthony Edmond, and Paul and Wendy Mcspadden; numerous cousins and other relatives: Mary Maakheru, Shadrach Gill and family, Rafael Belardo and family, Roy and Esterlina King, Rhenita Charles and family, Daryl Walcott and family, the Testamark family, the Brunstorff family, the Cepeda family, the Gerard family and the Christian family.

The family appreciates your support and condolences; however, due to the current situation and mandates, a small memorial service will be held at Granby’s Funeral Home in Bronx, New York.
