Brizaidy “Siede” Saldana of Estate Rattan died on Feb. 3.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Salustiano Saldana Sr. and Amado Adams; grandmothers: Cecilia Ortiz and Estelle Cruz; uncles: Saulo Saldana Sr., Juanito Saldana, Jose and Viciente Adams.

She was survived by her father, Jose L. Saldana Sr.; mother,  Dorca Saldana; sister, Shajaidy Saldana; brother, Jose L. Saldana Jr.; brother-in-law, Luis F. Santini; niece, Natalia Santini; special friend, Ray Raymond Martin; sister-in-law, Rosanna Saldana; uncles and aunts: Maria I Soto Saldana, Julio Saldana, Carlos Saldana Sr., Miguel A. Saldana Sr., Salustiano Saldana Jr., Isabel Navarro, Aurora Adams, Iris Davis, Alvin Rosario and Angel Adams; godfather, Joseph Olmeda; cousins too numerous to mention: Colorama staff and customers, Gallows Bay Family Project Promises; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

In lieu of flowers, it is asked that donations be made to Project Promise at P.O. Box 875, Christiansted, VI. (Call Lisa O’Reilly at 513-0446).

There will be a first viewing from 3-5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, at James Memorial Funeral Home.

The second viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. and the funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Sunny Acres Seventh-day Adventist. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery. The family requests that those in attendance wear festive colors.
