WAPA Launches ‘Service Saturdays’ on February 8

V.I. Water and Power Authority

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) informs its customers of “Service Saturdays.”

“Service Saturdays” is part of an ongoing initiative that the Authority has undertaken to enhance and improve the customer service experience.

Beginning on Saturday, Feb. 8, and continuing on Saturday, March 14 and Saturday, March 28, customer service offices territory-wide will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. to facilitate normal business operations. Customers will be able to query utility bills, pay utility bills and apply for new services.

“Our customers have spoken about the need for Saturday opening hours,” said Executive Director Lawrence J. Kupfer.  Building a good customer service experience is the cornerstone and design of WAPA’s new branding initiative, he added.

The customer service offices are located at Sunny Isle on St. Croix, The Marketplace on St. John and at Port of Sale Mall on St. Thomas.
