Women soccer players

The U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Association (USVISA) is inviting girls and their parents interested in training with the National Developmental Program to attend an information meeting at 9 a.m., Saturday Feb. 1, at the VI Montessori School on St. Thomas.

This meeting will be about participation in the USVI Under-15 Girls National Team program. All players must be a maximum of 15 years old by the end of the calendar year in which the competition is played, (i.e., all players of the team were born on or after Jan. 1, 2005), and possess a valid USA Passport.

The mission of the program is to prepare a team of young ladies, who will represent the USVI in international, regional and local soccer events.

A tentative training camp schedule will be distributed by the coaching staff.

Upcoming Event(s):

2020 Concacaf Under-15 Girls Championship at IMG Academy, Bradenton, Fla.

Tentative Dates: Aug. 1-9

Tournament Schedule: TBD
