One Victim Treated at JFL After Sion Farm Shooting

A shooting Wednesday evening in Estate Sion Farm on St. Croix injured at least one person, who was reported in stable condition at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital by the V.I. Police Department.

According to police, the 911 call center was notified of the incident around 9:53 p.m. A gunshot victim was transported to the hospital via private vehicle. The victim’s name was not released by the police.

No other information was available Wednesday evening. The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. More information will be forthcoming as details become available, the police said.
