Woman Reports Sexual Assault on STT

A woman reported Wednesday that she had been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, according to the V.I. Police Department.

The victim told police she had gone out with a male acquaintance and when he dropped her at her home he forcibly sexually assaulted her. The police report included no details or information about the incident, not even the time or place.

The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone with any information regarding this crime is urged to contact 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 ext. 5579 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.
