Office Depot employees, led by staff member Gladys Guiste, collect school supply donations from patrons and staff twice a year to support a school on St. Thomas. This year, Lockhart Primary School was selected to receive supplies.

“This is a corporate program that typically targets high school students; however, this year, we wanted to do something different and support our younger students and the community has been extremely supportive,” Sanchez said.

Public-private partnerships provide much-needed additional support to schools and students.
