Curtis Clint Webbe Dies

Curtis Clint Webbe

Curtis Clint Webbe, better known as “Blackiest” or “King Malak,” died on Oct. 19.

He is survived by his mother, Phillippa Webbe; father, Elvan Webbe; life-partner, Diann Isidore Love; children: Deshaun Webbe, Ajani Webbe, Jahtehya Webbe Isidore, Malachi Webbe and Muffin Isidore; sister, Hermina Hyacinth; brothers: Stafford ‘Chan’ Hyacinth, Ember ‘Abo’ Hubert and Kerry Jahfa Webbe; nieces: Kamesha Nelson, Kanesha Connor, Amber Hubert, Sharmonie Hubert, Jazmine Hyacinth and Jade Hyacinth; nephews: Jelani Hyacinth, Shaquille Hubert, Kione Hubert, Jaleel Hyacinth, RasKaleed Connor and Addai Hubbert;

He is also survived by grandchildren: Armani Webbe, Nala Webbe and Sprinkles Powell, aunts: Henia George, Juliana George, Agnes Canning, Molly Hamilton, Doris, Loletha, Eileen, Connie, Audrey, Muriel and Pamela; uncles: Allan George, Philip George, Francis George, John George, Calvin, Goodwin and Nathaniel; close relatives: Jimmy, Shirley and Olga; as well as cousins, friends and acquaintances too numerous to mention.

The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 8, at the Bordeaux Farmers Market. Interment will be at Western Cemetery. The family requests attendees to wear African attire.
