A joint operation between the V.I. Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security caused traffic congestion Wednesday afternoon near Brookman Road and Turpentine Run between Estates Bovoni and Tutu on St. Thomas.
The Source had requested information from VIPD about the cause of the traffic congestion. The police responded with a release to all the territory’s media: “There is a joint operation that is ongoing between the Virgin Islands Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security. That is all I can give you right now until the operation is complete. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.”
