Eddie Jeffers Harriette Dies at 47

Eddie Jeffers Harriette

Eddie Jeffers Harriette, also known as “Mouse,” died on April 29. He was 47 years old.

He leaves to mourn, his sons: Jamoye and J’Dyn Harriette; daughters: Jamisha and J’Lyai Harriette; adopted daughter, Tamara Polius; father, Peter Matthew; grandsons: Shakia and Jamoye Jr.; brothers: Jeremiah, Josiah and Jerry Harriette, and Guiste, Bennett and Kurt Matthew; sisters: Debra Matthew Rogers, Lorna Prosper, Juliette Soudatt, Julia Spence, Sonia Chevalier, Eurlyn Beaupierre and Jean Matthew; brothers-in-law: Daryl Rogers, John Soudatt, Kelly Spence, Harrison Beaupierre and George Chevalier; and sisters-in-law: Bertillia Harriet and Zena Matthew.

He is also survived by aunts: Theresa and Angela Newton, Maria Grey, Margery Singleton, Doreen Adams, Anestine Riviere, Sybil Jeanfrancois and Modeste Harriette, Myrtle Prosper and Venelle Matthew Joseph; uncles: Lartigue Pascal, Vernon, Charles and Franklyn Matthew; nieces: Cathy James, Kadisha Benjamin, Nikita Charles, Jasmine Soudat and Jemer Hariette, Ikima, Monelle, Kim, Krah, Niah, Zoe and Cianna Matthew; and nephews: Jermaine Soudatt, Jaime Maillard, Jeremy, Jayleel and Jahmil Harriette, Del Carke, Jevonte Sumayah and J’maih Sita, and Kelvin and George Chevalier, Kernie, Curtson, Ryerson, Jerren, Curtley and Noah Matthew.

Other survivors include numerous cousins: Noreen Jules, Tamara and Ricky Riviere, Ulanda, Blackboy, Kent, Mavis, Eva, Lucia and the Xavier family, the Pascal family, Tamina Laudat, Martha and Ermine; close friends: Lornette Mills, Calpuss, Alvin, Ronald, Dominica United Cricket Club Members, Julian Victor and the Victor family, the Hurtault family; as well as other family and friends on St. Croix, Dominica, USA and England.

A memorial service will be held for Eddie Jeffers Harriette at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 25, at Grace Baptist Church Central, 6 Estate Mount Pleasant.
