Fort Christian Parking Lot to Close for Carnival Village

Fort Christian Parking Lot

The Department of Public Works advises the community that beginning Monday, April 8, the Fort Christian Parking Lot will close temporarily to allow for the construction of the 2019 Carnival Village. Any vehicle left on the parking lot premises beyond 9 p.m., Sunday, April 7, will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. The parking lot will reopen to the general public at 7 a.m., Monday, May 13.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this brief closure may cause,” said Commissioner Nominee Nelson Petty Jr. “The Carnival Village is an integral part of the celebration every year. We are pleased to do our part to ensure the festivity is a success.”

For more information on the parking lot closure, call 776-4844.
