Darell Benjamin, a former employee of Seaflight, died.
He is preceded in death by his father, Simeon Benjamin; and mother, Adora Benjamin.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Benjamin; son, Kian Benjamin; brothers: Carl Benjamin, Michael Benjamin and Ian Benjamin; sisters: Deirdre Benjamin and Naferlee N’Doye; special cousins: Clinton and Ophelia Shillingford; stepchildren: Claudette Gordon, Alphonso Niles, Claudina Brown and Clarice O’Brien; uncle, Lofters Benjamin; aunt, Petrolina Benjamin; other relatives: the Benjamin, Williams and Laville families, the Sutton and Forbes families; special friends: Desiree Lambertis, the Pennyfeather brothers, Yilong Xang, Cleo Hodge, Ed Lucia and Lisa Marie; as well as many other relatives, neighbors and friends too numerous to mention.
The funeral will take place Friday, March 1, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services with viewing at 9 a.m. and service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
