Early Results Show Bryan With Two to One Lead Over Mapp

The first batch of results show Gov. Kenneth Mapp with a wide lead on St. Croix and Democrat Albert Bryan with an even larger lead in the St. Thomas/St. John District. As of 8 p.m., with 25 of 58 precincts reporting, Bryan stood at 4,442 votes to Mapp’s 2,012- a more than two to one margin.

On St. Croix, Mapp was far ahead, 2,096 to 1,233, while in St. Thomas-St. John, Bryan was stomping Mapp 3,189 to 779.
