The V.I. Police Department is looking for 39-year-old Tomas Melendez III, who is wanted for contempt of court.
According to the VIPD, Melendez is a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, medium brown and a light complexion.
Melendez frequents Hospital Ground, Williams Delight, and Campo Rico, all located in the Frederiksted area. He operates a red GMC Sierra with Veterans license plate V31.
Police urged anyone who happens across Melendez or knows his whereabouts to contact the Criminal Investigation Burea domestic violence unit at 340-778-2211, the 911 call center or the anonymous tip center, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
