Joseph Gomez Elementary to Hold Final Orientation on Sept. 21

Some Joseph Gomez Elementary students from last school year

Joseph A. Gomez Elementary School has scheduled its final orientation session for the 2018-19 school year. It will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 21. in Café Gomez. All parents or guardians who did not attend the orientation session on Sept. 12 are encouraged to attend.

During the designated orientation times parents or guardians are asked to present a copy of immunization records for students and pay required school fees, including $18 for school insurance and $24 for physical education (PE) uniform ($12 for PE T-shirt and $12 for PE shorts).

Families who do not wish to purchase school insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) on which the student is covered. Student IDs and PTSA dues will be discussed during the orientation.

Joseph A. Gomez Elementary School has also made educational materials available for all grade levels. Parents or guardians are asked to visit the school and inquire about assignments.
