Allan Brady III was arrested Tuesday morning when he turned himself into the V.I. Police Department and was charged in a February incident that took place in Estate Mon Bijou.
According to the V.I. Police Department, at 10:15 a.m. Feb. 24, a woman went to the Wilbur Francis Command Police Station and reported that someone fired several gunshots at her vehicle in Estate Mon Bijou.
Investigation into the incident revealed that a Rastafarian male, later identified as the 32-year-old Brady, stood in the middle of the roadway and aimed a hand gun at a moving vehicle and discharged several gunshots.
The vehicle was struck, damaging the rear side window. A search and arrest warrant was issued was by a court magistrate for Brady’s arrest.
At 5:30 p.m. Tuesday members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Special Operation Bureau executed the warrant. However, Brady was not at his residence.
At approximately 8:49 a.m., Brady turned himself into detectives of the Major Crime Unit, where he was placed under arrest and charged with for first-degree reckless endangerment, unauthorized possession of a firearm, aiming and discharging a firearm, and possession of ammunition. Unable to post bail in the amount of $50,000, he was transported to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility where he was remanded pending his advice of rights hearing.
