Department of Human Services Opens More Head Start Classes on St. Thomas

V.I. Department of Human Services — Head Start

The V.I. Department of Human Services (DHS) – Head Start Administration has announced the opening of classes at 1st Avenue, Sugar Estate, St. Thomas.  Head Start classes at this site began on Monday, Nov. 27. The following identifies the Head Start classes that will be held at Sugar Estate because of hurricanes Irma and Maria.  Accordingly, this shared location comprises double session shifts that reflect specific hours of operation.

  • Sugar Estate (1-4): 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Minnetta Mitchell (1-4): 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Children will receive hot meals when breakfast and lunch are served in the morning session; lunch and a snack will be served in the afternoon session.
