DOH Offers Wellness Self-Management Group Therapy for Addiction

You Are Not Alone

The Department of Health’s (DOH), Division of Mental Health, Alcoholism and Drug Dependency Services has announced a Wellness Self-Management Group Therapy for those who need assistance with personal recovery from alcohol, or illegal or prescribed drugs.

Stress, addiction, trauma, disappointment and loss can impact the mental wellness and emotional balance in one’s life; the DOH is committed to providing support to address these issues in the community.

This is a group for those who have been contemplating making a positive change in their life or are seeking support during the journey of recovery. Registration is required; if a person or someone the person knows may benefit from this program and/or wants to receive more information about the group, call 718-1311, ext. 3641 or ext. 3040.
