Julien A. Phillips, also known as “Jules,” died suddenly on Wednesday, Dec. 21, after a brief illness.
A viewing will be held from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home on St. Thomas. Services will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, at Lutheran Church of the Reformation. Interment will follow at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Phillips; sons: Julien Phillips Jr., Kyle Phillips and Kellen Phillips; daughters: Janice Phillips, Krystelle Phillips-Barney, Knielle Phillips-Thomas and Taetia Phillips-Dorsett. He is also survived by brother, Edward Phillips Sr., sister-in-law, Eureka Phillips; brother-in-law, Aubrey Haynes Sr.; grandchildren: Shanee Mizell, Kadyrah Payne, K-Jani Woolcock, Knea Thomas, K’nesha Thomas, Samaury Thomas, Jalen Dorsett, Thalia Dorsett, Jaylen Phillips and Caden Phillips.
He is also survived by the Phillips and Warner families; and nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and many other friends and family too numerous to mention.
