Peter Adolphus Bowery, also known as Ronald Bowery (Bowry), of St. Thomas died Thursday, Sept. 29, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 80 years old.
He leaves to mourn his loss his children: Lisimba Kitwana, Neal Bowery, Ricky Bowery, Leon Bowery, Charlene Bowery-Benjamin and Letitia Bowery; siblings: Ursula Jones, Letitia Bowery, Inez Herbert, Rennix Bowery and John Bowery; special friends: Simeon Richardson, Roosevelt Stapleton and Roxy.
He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 23 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the viewing at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay
