Carmen A. David Hodge Dies at 58

Carmen A. David Hodge Carmen A. David Hodge, also known as “Girly,” died on Thursday, Feb. 18. She was 58 years old.
She is survived by her sons: Antonio Charles Parris, Wayne Emanuel Dawson and Winston David; sisters: Jean Willis and Ziona David; brothers: Albert Brunn and Albert David Jr.; nieces: Heather Powell, Kim Williams, Carla Powell, JiJi Alexander and Deanna Willis; and nephews: Karl Powell, Alphonso Williams, Alston Williams, Allan Romou, Richard James, Arron George, Hassen George, Albert David III, Richard David, John David and Shawn David.
She is also survived by grandchildren: Danielle Parris, Tiffany Parris, Julaleen Esannason, Diamonique David, Dejanique David and Demetrius David; great niece: Afria Williams; and many other relatives and friends including the Rhymer family, Boschulte family, Moolenaar family, Colbourne family and the Dalmida family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the viewing from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, at the Celestial Chapel at Hurley Funeral Home. The service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.
Arrangements are under the care of Hurley Funeral Home and Cremation of St. Thomas and St. John.
