Blizzard conditions in the northeastern United States will cause flight cancellations on Saturday, the V.I. Port Authority said.
American Airlines Flight 196 from New York’s JFK International Airport to Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas will arrive Saturday as scheduled but the return Flight 196 won’t depart; American’s Flight 804 from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to St. Thomas is canceled. Since the plane isn’t arriving, Flight 803 from St. Thomas to Charlotte is also canceled.
Flight 744 from Philadelphia International Airport to St. Thomas is canceled as is the returning Flight 744. Additionally, Flight 868 from Philadelphia to St. Thomas and the return Flight 867 are canceled.
The Port Authority said United and Delta also canceled flights from New York and New Jersey airports to the Virgin Islands.
Delta’s flights from Atlanta are operating, the Port Authority said.
