Mrs. Agnes Maude Martin Dies at 96

Mrs. Agnes Maude Martin Mrs. Agnes Maude Martin was born in English Harbor, Antigua, on March 11, 1919. On June 3, at the age of 96, our beloved and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, transitioned into eternal rest surrounded by her children, special grandchild, Carol Ann Martin Joyner, and nephew, Joshua Martin Jr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ephraim Whitney Leopold Martin.
She is survived by her children: Isabel Marina Dublin, Clovis Emanuel, Addison Jenner Martin, Melida Esmeralda Martin, Lucia Antonia Thomas, Anna C. Martin-Jearld, Edith A. Anastasia Martin and Michael Ephraim Martin; brothers: Joshua and William Martin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by grandchildren: Gerard Dublin, Ann Marie Dublin, Robert F. Emanuel, Martin G. Emanuel, Carol Ann Martin-Joyner, Addison A. Martin, Michael J. Martin, Detris Martin, Alyssa A. Martin, Regis B. Martin-Fuller, Edward E. Thomas Jr., Lia A. Thomas, Denise P. Thomas-Forde, Saba A. Jearld, Asa O. M. Jearld, Michael O. Martin and Malik O. Martin. She is also survived by several great, and great-great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at the Celestial Chapel at Hurley Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Interment will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hurley Funeral Home.
