Crime Stoppers: U.S. Marshals Seek St. Croix Fugitive

Crime Stoppers USVI is a partnership with the community, the media and all of the law enforcement agencies throughout the territory. This week the U.S. Marshals Service has asked us to feature the following story in an effort to find a fugitive believed to be on St. Croix. If you know something, say something.

J’wa Charlery, a 19-year-old black male who goes by the street name “Balla,” is wanted on first degree murder charges stemming from an incident in Virginia on Nov. 2, 2014. Charlery allegedly shot a female at a hotel in Richmond and is now believed to be in St. Croix. Charlery is 6 feet tall and weighs 160 pounds. If you have seen him or know of his whereabouts, please let Crime Stoppers know.

It is a crime to harbor a fugitive.

If your information leads to Charlery’s capture, you will receive a cash reward and will remain anonymous.

Call 1-800-222-TIPS, log on to www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or text us your tip to CRIMES (274637), then type USVI in the body plus your message. We will not be able to see your phone number, only your message.
