Caribbean Advertising Federation Announces ADDYs

ADDY Award-winning Ad Caribbean Advertising Federation (CAF), a division of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), has announced the winners of the American Advertising Awards, formerly known as the ADDY Awards. This is the advertising industry’s most comprehensive and prestigious competition, which recognizes creative excellence in advertising.
This year, a record 769 entries were judged, giving the CAF the most entries in the 4th District for the second year in a row. Entries were submitted by 45 different companies and organizations that represent Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Curacao, Grand Cayman, Belize and St. Lucia. Best of Show went to Digicel Jamaica.
Winners from the U.S. Virgin Islands include MLB Creative, which won Best of Interactive, one of the top four media prizes. MLB also won five gold and three silvers, which included work for Choice Wireless and McDonald’s; 3BV won a gold and a silver for the Duvel Beer T-shirt and poster; Scotiabank won a silver for its 50th Anniversary campaign: Advertising Production Services won a silver for Destinations Magazine, and Griotlife Studio won a silver for Bambu Station Video.
These winners go forward to compete with other winners in the Caribbean and Florida in the second tier of the competition. A full list of winners is available on Facebook at CAFADDY.
