Man Robbed in Havensight Restaurant

Two men walked into the Dog House Pub in Havensight just after midnight Saturday morning, threatened a man and robbed him, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to the police, the victim told officers the robbery happened at about 12:10 a.m. Saturday. He said he was talking on his phone near the entrance to the pub’s kitchen when two men deliberately bumped against him and told him not to move. One suspect poked him in his side with a sharp object and grabbed his iPhone. The suspect demanded $60 to return the phone. The victim said he would give them $20 and they refused. The victim then gave the suspects $60 and the suspects returned his phone.

The suspects were described as about 5 feet 2 inches tall to 5 feet 7 inches tall, both wearing jeans and dark T-shirts. One suspect was wearing a black and red hat. The suspects left the business on foot and fled in an unknown direction.

Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives are following up on this case.
