Doris E. Callwood of Estate Whim, Frederiksted, died on Jan. 17 at her residence. She was 77 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna James; son, David Brown; son-in-law, Mervin Brown; grandchildren: Shammara, Melanie, Roan, David Jr., Aja and Warren; grandson-in-law: Chaun; granddaughter-in-law, Rachel; great- grandchildren: Shanee, Charles, Chaun (CJ), Skyana, David, Ajanai, Nialah, Warren, Immani, Aron and Alyiah; sisters: Olita, Orillda, Elvina, Elcina, Eileen, Charlene and Elmira; sisters-in-law: June and Iona; brothers: Milton, Henry and Ernest; nieces: Katherine, Edith, Rochelle, Madia and Harriet; nephews: Walter Jr., Donald, Austin and Merwin; special friends: Ina Blyden, Miss Marilyn Carr and Vance Monsanto; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Special thanks to the staff of Continuum Care: Maria, Shauna and Amber.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Frederiksted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
