According to the V.I. Police Department, Tai Huu Vu and Hiep Van Lung assaulted the victim by punching him and hitting him with a pipe over his entire body.

The incident occurred at about 7 p.m. Nov. 19 near the Pueblo Supermarket in Long Bay. The suspects were arrested at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday.

The victim told police the dispute stemmed from a longstanding argument between him and the suspects. He also said he and the suspects operate separate nail shops and are in competition.
