Parole Board Considering Applications Monday to Wednesday

The V.I. parole Board will meet Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Golden Grove Correctional Facility on St. Croix to consider the applications for parole for the following inmates:

– Tyrone Powell, assault in the third degree;
– Heskett John, attempted robbery, murder and parole violation;
– Victor Colon, burglary in the first degree;
– Rinel Ferdinand, murder in the second degree;
– Denzel Stevens, assault in the first degree;
– Lorne Davis, murder in the in the second degree and parole violation;
– Katanio Peets, accessory after the fact;
– Kirk Magras, murder in the second degree;
– Conrad Brooks, aggravated rape;
– Thomas Freeland, murder in the second degree;
– Marvin Dominguez, murder in the second degree;
– Lloyd Canegata, murder in the second degree;
– Jameel Burke, robbery in the first degree and assault in the first degree;
– Adrian Santiago, murder in the second degree and robbery;
– Eugene Monsanto Jr., unauthorized possession of firearm;
– Akeem Herbert, assault in the first degree;
– Jerome Felicien, burglary in the first degree;
– Luis Rivera, attempted robbery;
– Alvin Thomas, kidnapping for robbery, kidnapping for rape and aggravated rape;
– Tomasito Santiago, rape in the first degree, assault in the first degree and parole violation;
– Julio Parrilla, murder in the second degree, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted armed robbery, using a dangerous weapon during the commission of a crime of violence, assault and parole violation;
– Alric Simmonds, embezzlement;
– Hubert Rhymer, rape, kidnapping and aggravated rape;
– Peter Bellot, aggravated rape in the first degree and unlawful sexual contact in the first degree;
– Rodger Edwards, aggravated rape;
– Victor Ruiz, voluntary manslaughter, assault in the first degree and possession of firearm;
– Amon Thomas, maintaining drug involved premises;
– John Gumbs, Criminally Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and obtaining money by false pretense;
– Nathaniel Thomas, maintaining drug involved premises;
– Deshaune Harrigan, murder in the second degree;
– Jason Stevens, assault in the third degree;
– Edward Seeley, murder in the second degree and assault in the first degree;
– Wilfredo Diaz, involuntary manslaughter, assault in the third degree and possession of a dangerous weapon during the commission of a crime of violence;
– Gregory Turbe, unauthorized possession of firearm;
– Julio Perez, murder in the second degree and parole violation.

Anyone interested in giving information or testifying at the hearing must submit written comments to the parole board or advise the board of his/her desire to appear and testify.

Such notices must be received by the board at least 24 hours prior to the hearing date.
