BaileyShe is survived by her father, Samuel Sargeant (United Kingdom); husband, Oscar Bailey (St. Thomas); daughter, Latoya Bailey (Nevis); son, Dayalan Bailey (New York); sisters: Dianah Jeffers (New York), ernadette Caines (Nevis), Gwenneth Caines (British Virgin Islands), Jeannete Caines (Puerto Rico), Sandra Sargeant (United Kingdom) and Flora Jeffers (Florida); brothers: Kenneth Caines (BVI), Arthur Caines (New York), Spencer Caines (Nevis), Randy Caines (St. Kitts) and Martin Sargeant (United Kingdom); nieces: Mauricia Nisbett-Potter (BVI), Lauren Liburd (BVI), Jeanelle Vaughan (Puerto Rico), Altiana Caines (New York), Ashanti Caines (New York) and Mickhala Regisford (United Kingdom); and nephews: Akeem Richardson (BVI), Akiel Richardson (New York), Adriel Richardson (BVI), Abdiel Richardson (BVI), Ranje Caines (St. Kitts), Revoy Caines (St. Kitts), Andre Vaughan (Puerto Rico) and Kieran Sargeant (United Kingdom).
She is also survived by nephew-in-law, Wesley Potter (BVI); uncles: Calvin Ward (Nevis), Benson Ward (St. Croix), Larry Jeffers (Canada), Hilton Jeffers (Canada), Hugh Jeffers (Canada) and Martin Jeffers (Canada); mother-in-law (Florida), brothers-in-law: Noel Richardson (BVI) and Terrance Bailey (Florida); sisters-in-law: Velma Caines: Faith Caines, Pearle Hendrickson and Wilma Sadio; aunt, Aviril Jeffers (Nevis); cousins: Jaslyn Ottley, Christine Edmeade, Millicent Joseph, Cyril Glasgow, Davis Glasgow, Verdan Myers, Leonie Glasgow, Carlita Glasgow, Janet Jeffers and Perry Jeffers; godparent, Eleanor Willett; special friends: Cathleen Nolan, Henry Martin, Shirley Finlay, Laurel Philips; best friends: Eulalie, Thilida, Neaty, Carmen Parris, Ira Willett, Libby Fraser, Anastasia Fraser, the Lewis Family in Nevis, the Tucket Family in Nevis, the Bailey Family in Nevis, Hon. A first viewing will be take place from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at Christ Methodist Church, Market Square. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
Funeral arrangements are made by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
