DOH to Temporarily Reduce Window Hours at Vital Statistics Office

The Department of Health Vital Statistics Division on St. Croix will reduce window hours to 8 a.m. through 1 p.m. at the Vital Statistics Office beginning Monday June 11 through Friday, June 22, so that employees can process a backlog of requests to serve the public better, according to a press release issued Thursday by the DOH.
Acting Health Commissioner Darice Plaskett said that during the two-week period, the afternoon hours will be used to process various requests for affidavit of birth and death certificates.
Normal hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. will resume on Monday, June 25.
