Harold Emerson Smith
Harold Emerson Smith age 67 of Estate Mars Hill died on April 4 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Marion M. Hendricks Smith and Hezekiah E. Smith, daughter, Kerisa Smith-Grayson; brother, Alfred E. Smith; sister, Annette E. Smith and brother-in-law, Svend A. Ovesen Jr.
He is survived by his companion: Anna Maria Rosa; son, Harold E. Smith Jr.; daughters: Dr. Norah M. Smith, Michelle Riley, Tamara Smith and Harolyn Smith; aunt, Alice Smith Nielsen; brother, Herbert E. Smith; sisters: Elisa M. Smith, Paulette E. Hodge, Alfreda S. Ovesen, Beverly E. Smith-Stalliard, Louella E. Smith-Rabsatt and Marjorie E. Smith; grandchildren: Harold E. Smith III, and Roger, Amaya and Rochelle Riley, Caleb and Chaiku Smith; nieces: Phyllis C. Vickers, Sandra Solomon, Curliss Solomon-John, Grace M. Lindsay, Partricia E. Logan, Sandra, Sonia and Sheir Smith-Thomas, Jamice Gaskin, Trese M. Hodge and Karla D. He is also survived by nephews: Mike A. Smith, Warren and Michael Smith, Michael, Anthony and James Francis, Ronald Logan, Alan Gregory Dawson, Robert, Walter and Leslie Hodge, Llewellyn and Kenneth Solomon; cousins: Dr. E. Aracelis, Amadeo A. D. Jr., Alfred E. D. & James A. D. Frances, J. Ingerborg Marrero and family, Frederick Nielsen, Edward Nielsen and family, Jessica Williams and family, Geralda Nielsen, Beatrice Tyler and family, the Hunt family, Deborah F. Howell and family, Miriam Phillips, Mary Richards, the family of the late James E. Hendricks, Ohanio Hendricks, Adella Simpson and family and the family of the late Charles E. There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
