UVI Access and Enrollment Services Hosts Open Houses

The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Access and Enrollment Services office will host open house sessions on Monday, April 2, on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix, and on Tuesday, April 3, on the St. Thomas campus. Both sessions will run from 5:30-7 p.m. The St. Croix open house will be held in the Great Hall, North West Wing. On St. Thomas, the open house will take place in the first-floor conference room of the Administration and Conference Center.
The open houses are especially designed to reach out to those who may have interrupted their education. “We invite individuals to join one of our open house sessions and to interact with education and career experts.” The evening sessions will give participants a chance to learn more about the local and global impact of the latest job trends. “We’ll also introduce UVI’s latest course and degree programs,” Dr. Judith Edwin, UVI’s vice provost for Access and Enrollment Services said. “Our programs provide a way to improve existing skills and to learn new ones, and to compete and earn at a higher level. This is important at every stage and in every career path. It is especially critical during challenging economic times.”
For more information or to reserve a spot at one of the open house sessions, call 693-1160 or send e-mail to admissions@uvi.edu.
