David R.N. Carty Dies

David R.N. Carty died on Feb. 20.
David R.N. Carty is survived by his wife, Olivia Carty; sons:Dale Carty and Leborne Carty Sr.; daughters:Frances Ann Richards and Paula Carty; stepsons:Melvin Walters, Sele Adeyemi and Glendrige Christopher; special stepson, Norvel Connor; sister,Madaline Walcott; grandchildren: Jasmine Swan, Lynette Dequire, Lee Richards, Margaret Frances, Yvonne Henville, David James, Collin James, Leborne Jr, Nathaniel, Elius, Emanuel and Elisabeth Carty; 17great- grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law:Moremi Adeyemi, Bebe Anna Carty and Bernadette Carty; and sister-in-law,Caroline Donovan.
He is also survived by nieces: Agnes, Althea, Mary, Ruth, Mary, Ursula, Ivy, Angela, Susanna and Gladys; special niece-in-law, Berinece Donovan; nephews: Willie, Milton, Uriel, Wilfred, Cyril, John and Sam; godchildren:Roger David, Aliyeah Cantois, Solomon Glasford, Angela Bradshaw, Warner and Nathaniel Cains; special friends: Neville Poole, Phillip Warner, Analdo Richrads, Terry Francis, Sam and Mary Francis, The Harley Brothers, James Willock, Christalia Testamark, Bernard Maynard, Shirley Liburd, Wilson Brown, Elva Greenaway, Annabel Frett, Evans and Ethlyn Cannonier, Hermine Petty, Elaine Dawson, Gertrude Henry, Mavis Turnbull, Mr. Farrel and Mr. Mannings and Mrs. Jonas; as well as great nieces and great nephews, and many other family members and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 5, at Methodist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
