Youth Advisory Council Plans First Youth Forum

St. Croix Foundation’s Youth Advisory Council Presents its first Youth Forum. The keynote address will be given by Erik Cork, nationally renowned motivational speaker, on the topic “Rap, Rhythm and Rhyme: Rebuilding the Writing Foundation.” Panel discussions will follow: “Skills We Have Versus Skills We Need” and “Coping with 21st Century Life.”
Created in the summer of 2009, St. Croix Foundation’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is comprised of burgeoning youth leaders from St. Croix’s public and private high schools who have been introduced to the world of philanthropy and charitable giving through targeted instructional curriculum. YAC students are also being guided to make meaningful changes that impact their community (specifically youth) in innovative and sustainable ways.
Certificates for Community Service Hours will be provided to registered students in attendance.
