The Humane Society of St. Thomas is celebrating Presidents’ Day weekend by cutting pet-adoption fees in half and giving shoppers deep discounts at the No-Flea Boutique. The adoption specials will run Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Humane Society’s shelter in Estate Nadir. Check out all the adoptable pets at www.hsstt.com and visit the shelter between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to meet all the loving, vet-checked and vaccinated animals waiting for their forever homes. The normal adoption fees – $105 for dogs and $75 for cats – will be cut in half.
The No-Flea Boutique, located off Weymouth Rhymer Highway and across from Cost-U-Less, will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. All clothing and shoes will be 50 percent off. There will be many $1 and $2 bins of other select items.
