Jeffrey S. McNeil has joined FirstBank as senior vice president and Virgin Islands region executive replacing Cassan Pancham as head of FirstBank’s operations in the V.I.
Prior to joining FirstBank, he served as a member of the Royal Bank of Canada’s management team for its U.S. banking operations (RBC Bank) based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was responsible for its deposits and payment services business units. His previous banking experience includes 14 years with The Bank of Nova Scotia in Ontario, Canada, as well as the V.I. Throughout these 14 years, McNeil served in various strategic planning and development roles, consulting, leading and facilitating strategic initiative for the franchise.
Cassan Pancham, executive vice president and business group executive at FirstBank, Puerto Rico, in announcing McNeil’s appointment noted the broad range of management experience that he brings to the region, his knowledge of the markets, and his commitment to superior results for both the clients and the organization. Cassan expressed his confidence that the bank’s operations in the region under McNeil’s leadership, with the support of the continuing management team and staff, will grow its leadership positions and maintain its commitment to these markets.

He completed post-graduate studies in the field of business management at Wilfred Laurier University, Ontario, Canada, and he is pursuing a master’s degree from Heriot-Watt School of Business from the University of Edinburgh, in Leith, Scotland. Jeffrey McNeil will be based on St. Thomas.
