WTJX-Channel 12 Seeks Volunteers for Pledge Telethon

The Virgin Islands Public Television System, WTJX-Channel 12, remains committed to developing community engagement projects designed to enhance the quality of life for everyone in the Virgin Islands, and, as such, it is organizing a Pledge Telethon fundraising event for noon to 10 p.m. on March 18, and it is in search of volunteers to assist with the event.
This 10-hour event will showcase the local programming shown on WTJX. We will depict past and present activities/ events that our community depends on WTJX to broadcast. This telethon can only be successful with the assistance of volunteers who are willing to devote at least one hour to serve as telephone operators, pledge monitors or production assistants during the telethon.
WTJX-Channel 12 is also seeking organizations to assist it by volunteering for this event. Contact event coordinators Fiona Stokes at 779-3339 ext. 248 on St. Croix or Diane Richardson at 774-6255 ext. 248 on St. Thomas. Interested individuals and organizations are asked to volunteer by Jan. 30.
