
Elmo R. Hendricks Sr. died on Nov. 19 at this residence in Hospital Ground.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Hendricks; sons: Elmo Jr., Cletis and Derek Hendricks; aunt, Zephyra Hendricks; brothers: Ulric Chinnery and Wilburn Hendricks; sister, Regina Smith; mother-in-law, Lillian Chesterfield; grandchildren: Aakeem, Jahmal, Deja, Malik, Selassie & Auralia Hendricks; and caregivers:Vera Fredericks, Cletis and Joleen Hendricks, Veda Hodge and Nazarine George.
He is also survived by brothers-in-law: Raymond Chesterfield Jr. and Wayne Chesterfield; sisters-in-law: Elma Young Eclyn Smith, Ena Guzman, Jacklyn Chesterfield and Jeanette Smith; daughters-in-law: Tynisha, Joleen and Carol-Ann Hendricks; nieces: Cheryl Thomas, Alexis and Avril Barthlett, Allison Bussue, Arlene Lake, Sharon Prosper, Sharmaine Weekes and Tisean Hendricks; nephews: Virgil Shinnery, Angel, Albe, Anthony and Alex Barthlette, Dexter and Kacy Hendricks; godson, John Peterson; great niece, Janelle Burns; and many others; cousins: Evan Hendricks, Ilva Normil Boynes, Mildred George, Gladys Williams Broome, Beatrice Hendricks, Valentine Hendricks, Leola Hermon and many others; special cousin, Kenneth Hermon; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a first viewing held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, at New Herrnhut Moravian Church. Interment will be at New Herrnhut Cemetery.
