Library Hosts Local Author Ophelia A. Powell Torres

The Elaine I. Sprauve Library will host Ophelia A. Powell Torres, local author and nurse, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. Torres will present her book and personal story: “War On Breast Cancer: One Woman’s Journey With Breast Cancer.”
Donations will be accepted for the St. John Relay for Life, benefiting the America n Cancer Society of the Virgin Islands.
