Troy Kareem Christian, also known as "Gatty," of Estate Richmond died on May 18. He was 26 years old.
He is survived by his companion, Deserie Bailey; mother, Theresa Peters; daughters: Triniyah Christian, T’ Noi Christian and Dennisha Dubery; sons: Troy Kareem Christian Jr. and Devondré Poleon; sisters: Camille Christian, Chrystal Clark, Nadine Christian, Asha Christian and Jeanette Christian; brothers: Terrel Christian, Touré Feracho, Bryan Christian and Godfrey Christian; nieces: Sadé Friday, Jaliesia Feracho, Jalena Feracho, T’noi Christian, Malasia Christian and Khodijah Felix; and nephews: Sadique Francis, Javeon Feracho, Jerrell Young, Tintawee Christian, Malachi Christian, Dakari Christian and Khalid Felix.
He was also survived by aunts: Jean Christian, Rose Marie Christian, Prisilla Peters and Kathleen Merchant; uncles: Samuel Christian, Fredrick Christian, Philbert Christian, Stedroy Meade, Wayne Peters, Sylvanus "Deuce" Peters, Sylvanus "Peter" Peters and Ira Peters; cousins: Dean Peters, Nickima Charles, Nichole Charles, Nayana Jean-Louis and Nashaira Gonzales; special friends: Leighton Phillips, Matthew O’garro, Maurice Harvey, Shawaki Murray, Benji Cabret, Anthony Figueroa, Pedro Figueroa, Pernell Towers and Jovan Daniel; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, at the Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
