Police Release Murdered Boy’s Photo, Ask Community for Help

Police are asking anyone with information about Richardson to contact St. Croix detectives.Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives on St. Croix have released the photo of Jamal Richardson, the 16-year-old boy who was murdered Monday in Estate Two Brothers, Frederiksted.

Police are asking for information from anyone who may have seen Richardson in his final days.

According to police, the young man ran away from his home in Estate Sion Farm sometime during the night of Jan. 18. Police need to know his whereabouts and who he saw during the six days leading up to his death.

Anyone who saw Richardson or heard anything about him, especially if he was seen in the Frederiksted or the Marley Apartments, can call detectives at 712-6077, 712-6037, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-TIPS.
