Ras Haile Jahras Ja
Ras Haile Jahras Ja died on Jan. 13. He was 29 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Romilly Dagou; father, Shambulu Rhasba; stepmother, Rosalind Stevens; sisters: Queen Ivory, Myrcle and Joshuanette Rhasba; brother, Dekimbae Rhasba; grandmothers: Francisette Dagou, Margaret Buntin and Elizabeth Gumbs; grandfather, Oscar Buntin; nieces: Jahleesa Bishop, Ajahdenai Wrensford and Lamy’r Perez; and nephew, Chavroy Bishop.
He is also survived by aunts: Omenita, Eva, Olvin, Eva, Zenda, Rosabelle, Jacqueline, Lucinda, Gwenda Letia Dagou, Benita Olivia, Sheree, Claudette, Antoinette Buntin, Valerie Hamilton, Jenine Buntin-Bryan, LaVerne Lake, Debbie Springette and Andrea Gumbs; uncles: John, Terrence, Lunsford Dagou, Neil Oliver, Clayden and Urban Connor, and Lionel Selwood; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at V.I. Christian Ministries. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
