Maurice Greenidge, a 41-year-old resident of Estate Campo Rico, was arrested at 10:23 a.m. Monday and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
According to the V.I. Police Department, Greenidge was stopped for a traffic violation in the vicinity of Estate Calquohoun and was discovered with marijuana in his clothing.
Bail was set at $10,000 and he was remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
