Pistarckle offers a Video in Theater course that will allow young people to enter technology at its finest. For eight weeks, they will be engaged in constant group projects, emphasizing team work, focus, lighting, creativity, patience and awareness of surroundings. The skills learned will not only benefit the elements of a production team but will also be applicable in the real world.
The major components of video production: camera usage, pre-and post production and online film-editing are immediate forms of artistic expression. These components serve as the infrastructure for the education and workshops offered in this training program. The need for group responsibility and commitment to the project as well as to one another will result immediately through brainstorming sessions and play backs on the theater’s large screen and projector.
Students will plan and produce their own 60-second commercial to be aired on TV2.
